Duplex Stainless Steel Stacker Reclaimer Buckets Delivered for Claudius Peters
Westbury Park Engineering has successfully completed the manufacture of six bespoke stacker reclaimer buckets for Claudius Peters, designed and built to meet demanding material handling requirements.
Project Overview
Each bucket was engineered for strength, durability, and performance in challenging operational environments:
- Dimensions: 2m x 1.9m x 1.8m
- Weight: 800 kg per unit
- Quantity: Six units manufactured
Specialist Materials and Construction
The buckets were fabricated from 2205 duplex stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and enhanced mechanical strength, making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications.
Key features include:
- 8 manganese steel teeth per bucket, providing exceptional wear resistance and durability in abrasive conditions
- 15mm fillet welds securing each tooth, ensuring robust attachment and long-term performance
Controlled Fabrication Environment
To maintain the integrity and quality of the duplex stainless steel, all fabrication work was carried out in our dedicated stainless-steel workshop, which is separated from the main production area to prevent cross-contamination.
Packaging and Delivery
Upon completion, all six buckets were carefully packaged in water-resistant crates to ensure protection during transit and were successfully shipped to Hong Kong.
